‘Space of Culture, Cultural Management Training Program, organized for the fourth time with İKSV, welcomed its participants digitally between September 13-18. In its second year, the Covid-19 pandemic is impacting daily routines, and even more so the cultural life everywhere. Therefore, Cultural Management Training Program has been adapted to an online form to make the most of the so-called new normal.
During the specifically designed six-day digital training program, participants had the opportunity to meet with experts and discuss crucial topics in the field, including sessions on cultural policies & cultural management, digital developments in arts, audience building, creative funding concepts, and sustainability. In addition, the programme featured a digital site visit to İKSV, an introduction session with partner institutions, and online workshops. For six days, inspiring discussions and professional knowledge exchange took place with all participating actors in the field of arts and culture from Izmir, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, and their neighbouring cities, institutions, and professionals from Turkey’s cultural scene, and guest speakers from the European partner countries.
