The second edition of the Spaces of Culture Mobility Program has been organized in Stockholm between 5-11 September, exploring Sweden’s cultural and art scene with talks, site visits, and group discussions. Inviting 15 participants from Gaziantep, Diyarbakır, İzmir, and their neighbouring cities, the program has been designed in cooperation with Swedish cultural managers Maria Lindeberg and Alev Karaduman to offer an insight into the lively art scene of Sweden during the six-day program.
Participants of the program visited Färgfabriken, Swedish Arts Council, Index The Swedish Contemporary Art Gallery, Substopia Arts Centre, Folk i Skärholmen, BEYN2 Collective, Unga Klara, Fotografiska, The Nordic Art Association, Unga Tankar Om Musik, SUPTOPIA Arts Centre, Mångkulturellt Centrum, Botkyrka Konthall, FOLK i Skärholmen, Royal Library, City Library, Weld Dance Centre, Nordiska Museet, and Skogsalong to develop a better understanding and exchange ideas with the local cultural actors on the topics of contemporary art, film, new media production, music, urban art, member-driven organizations, inclusivity, cultural policies, and their implementations, collective production in the context of constantly changing world and its effect on the arts and cultural scene globally.
