Design Through Craftivism is a multi-layered project combining craft-based production with sustainable and circular textile design. By reworking, repairing, and personalizing textile waste—especially denim—it offers new narratives through material transformation and stands as a response to fast fashion.

Supported by Spaces of Culture, the project brings together young designers, environmental activists, and marginalized communities to build collective awareness and transformation through ecofeminist and craft-based design practices. Events held in İzmir, Istanbul, and Amsterdam encourage collaborative production and shared experiences.

Led by Witches of the East Collective, the project is supported by House of Denim for its expertise in sustainable denim and by Devridaim Institute for local coordination, communication, and exhibition processes. The resulting works will be shared on digital platforms and disseminated through public events.
