This project, ‘Festival in the Village’, and Mordem Arts Center invites children from a variety of backgrounds to experience—some for the very first time—the exciting, enriching and expressive world of theatre and puppetry. The play debuts 16 June and will be performed every two weeks at Mordem Arts Center and in Diyarbakır’s surrounding villages. Like the play, the puppet workshop aims to build community, improve communication, and encourage collaboration and creativity through the unifying power of art.
