With workshops specifically designed for children, “The Fish Plays In The Water” multidisciplinary artistic creation processes to audiences in Ayvalık and the surrounding region. Together, the participants will stage a musical comedy performance. The necessary skills are developed in various activities such as workshops, conversations and artist-in-residence programs, the project features “Body Percussion & Soundpainting Workshop”, “Improvised Dance Workshop”, “Illusion Workshop”, “Open and Interactive Rehearsals”, “Philosophy for Children Workshop”, “How Do Parents Do Philosophy With Children Workshop”, and “Conversation Table – How Can A Space For Culture Be Created? Meeting”.
“The Fish Plays In The Water” is coordinated by the Karagöz Art House and takes place at the Karagöz Art House, Ayvalık Art Factory, Cunda Vocational and Technical Anatolian Highschool, Ayşecik Private Kindergarten, Midi Café Bistro, and Pir Sultan Abdal Culture Association. The project is implemented under the partnership of the Atta Festival, Caféturc Music & Arts, Biz Platform, Ayvalık Municipality, Ayvalık District Directorate of National Education, Ayvalık Art Association, Another School Is Possible Ayvalık Education Cooperative, Bergama Culture and Arts Foundation, Bergama Theatre Festival, Cunda Vocational and Technical Anatolian Highschool, Philosophy for Children Association, Midi Café Bistro, Nilüfer City Theatre, Ayşecik Private Kindergarten, Pir Sultan Abdal Culture Association, Art Factory, TEMA Ayvalık, and Olive Seeds.
