Spaces of Culture’s Mobility Programme provides professionals in arts and culture from Gaziantep, İzmir, and Diyarbakır opportunities for cross-cultural exchange. In this year’s first edition, local institutions and individuals in these fields meet with writers, artists, creators, and academics from Germany on online platforms due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the travel restrictions.
This year’s digitalized structure of the program aims to create a ground for grantees to share experience and information with festivals, collectives, and art spaces like 48 ours Neukölln, Çuval Dergisi, and Berlin Tiyatrom Gencligi and attend discussion seminars and workshops with experts in specific cultural areas. Accordingly, participants gain insights into the German art scene and gather inspiration for expanding their network.
Phase two of this year’s Mobility Programme was realized with our French partners in autumn 2020. Stay tuned for the public events and follow our social media accounts to learn more about the program.
