Starting off in June, art lovers in Izmir are set to go on a thrillingly new artistic journey. ‘6x6x6 Izmir’ is a project spread across multiple venues along a designated route featuring activities aimed at involving its audience in a more interactive art experience. Participants take part in over 30 events that include workshops, artist talks, and gastronomic visits spread throughout the neighborhoods of Karşıyaka, Güzelbahçe, Urla, Seferihisar, Konak (Karataş and Göztepe), and Karabağlar and Konak (Basmane and Kemeraltı). Attendees have the chance to explore new sights and venues as well as mingle with artists from different fields. Enjoyably, podcasts and music playlists prepared by artists and visitors will accompany route participants once a month for the duration of the project for an even greater spirit of sharing and discovery.
