Spaces of Culture

The project Children Meet in One Frame delivers training in photography, light, composition, and framing to children who live in Gaziantep and Adıyaman and have limited experience in photography so that the participants develop an understanding of the field of photography while taking photographs.

In collaboration with AFYOL (Adıyaman Photography Association), GAFSAD launches an open call to reach socio-culturally disadvantaged children in the project region and organizes photography tours. 40 children are given cameras and explore photography techniques through lessons. With the attendance of the active photographers in the project cities and the families, children present their work at GAFSAD’s opening in September followed by an exhibition that will introduce the final photography works between 21-29 October.
