Spaces of Culture

The “Gardens of Sinope” project aims to bring the local flora, which is about to disappear with the rapidly increasing urbanization in the city center, back to the city and to create an up-to-date archive on garden culture.

Garden studies, artistic production workshops to be held in March-April 2024, workshops to be organized with the participation of the artist Kate Price (the Netherlands) within the scope of Sinopale 9 in October, informative presentations in the field of ecology and archive exhibition will be implemented with the support of the International Co-Production Fund of Spaces of Culture.

This project aims to encourage intergenerational and intercultural knowledge sharing among the residents of Sinop and to create cooperation between institutions for a greener future that wants to protect ecological values.
