Spaces of Culture

As part of the International Co-Production Fund by Spaces of Culture, the Diyarbakır Film Development Platform is initiated by Lütfü İrdem in partnership with Deniz İnceoğlu from France and Başka Sinema. The project aims to support young filmmakers from Diyarbakır, Mardin, Bingöl, Batman, and Şanlıurfa.

Held from 5 to 7 September in Diyarbakır, the program features a rich content of workshops, talks, and presentations. It focuses on increasing the visibility of regional productions and expanding access to alternative production support and co-production opportunities.

Under the Short Film Production Support, three selected projects each receive a 30,000 TL Incentive Award. Finalist projects are also considered for the Başka Sinema Distribution Award, the Color Award, and the Sound Design Award.
