Laiana Nasser
Through the project ‘Frame by Frame’, Rawan Hasan – an experienced illustrator and filmmaker – establishes a small studio to produce stop-motion films and support interested people to enhance their capacity in stop-motion techniques and other styles of animation. Hasan provides essential equipment for the studio and works on a short experimental stop-motion film. In addition, the artist organizes a six-day online stop-motion workshop for eight Syrian and Turkish participants online.
In this project, the stop-motion film production experience is shared with the publication of a short film and its production process on the website of ‘Douzan Art and Culture’, the project’s co-organizer.
