KuçeArt Collective is launching a workshop titled “Photographs through the Eyes of Children” in Adıyaman. Targeting the children affected by the February 6 earthquake, this workshop aims to open a new space of expression for children through the art of photography.
KuçeArt focuses on providing children with visual skills that will enable them to narrate their experiences while exploring the outside world. In these workshops, children learn basic photography techniques and have the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings in a visual language.
In collaboration with local associations, an exhibition of photographs taken by the children is organized after the activities in Narlıkuyu Container City. This exhibition highlights the role of art in the social healing process and allows children’s creativity to reach a wider audience.
