Mustafa Kara Ali
Mustafa Kara Ali’s documentary “Light of Hope” tells the stories of solidarity in the aftermath of disasters. Following the 6 February 2024 earthquakes, this film closely follows the difficult journey of the residents of the region and the obstacles they overcame, revealing the efforts of individuals and communities to come together and strengthen themselves in the face of difficulties.
The main framework of the documentary “Light of Hope” consists of interviews with six main characters. These interviews strengthen the theme and message of the documentary through personal narratives. The experiences of each participant show their determination to overcome difficulties. By showing viewers the triumph of the human spirit over destruction, it emphasises the collective strength that emerges from togetherness.
